Interim Counter Planning Services

Project Description: EBA’s staff augments the City’s Planning Division by providing in-house planners to meet the City’s need. To this end, EBA staff is responsible for checking plans submitted by developers and the public; and reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy. This includes coordinated approval of plans with other city departments and regulatory agencies, assistance with developing and presenting recommendations on development permits, variances, tentative tract maps, residential planned development permits, landscaping and irrigation plans and other applications/entitlements, preparing environmental and landscaping checklist and related document; and performing inspections for projects to ensure compliance with City policies, ordinances, design guidelines and codes. A main component involves interacting with the public and providing planning and zoning information at the counter.
