Project Description:

EBA was hired to provide the City with the technical assistance needed to manage its diverse transportation program and projects, including, but not limited to, its local fixed-route circulator, dial-a-ride program, administration of its Local Return funding program, grants management and oversight of specific transportation projects.

EBA staff served as the City’s contract transportation manager. This involves working directly with city staff to develop processes and procedures required to adequately manage the City’s transportation funding programs in accordance with program guidelines and advising city council on transportation-related matters.

The city has adopted new procedures for the administration of its transportation funds and grants. These procedures, developed by EBA, will allow the city to manage these funds in a manner consistent with program guidelines and avoid any future findings that may be costly to the City. EBA’s assistance has allowed the City to become current on its reporting of the progress on its grant-funded projects, thus eliminating the threat of lapsing grant funds.
